Sober 23 years since 3/2/1974, Julio was the AA Delegate from Puerto Rico when he was befriended by the Delegate from Georgia, Randy S. They are people who normally would not mix, except in AA.
Julio was raised poor in Puerto Rico and joined the Army to get out.
He lived on the streets of New York at times until he got sober there before he moved back to Puerto Rico.
