Dot and her husband were very active in AA in Statesboro. After getting sober, they founded the first treatment facility in the area. It took her a long time to realize she was an alcoholic and that "he" was not her problem especially after he got sober. Her son Al M of Cary, NC is a active member of Al-anon and active in the recovery field. His story is also on WeJoy.
