Sober 42 years since 10/17/1965, Dick says it is an understatement that he had a little problem with relationships.
He is a real alcoholic. He didn't have difficulty with some of the things others have trouble with today. He says that not to differentiate himself.
"You can read about me in this Book." He calls it the "owner's manual".
78 years old, born 8/19/1930 in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, he now lives just outside Charlotte, NC.
He grew up in a farming community that taught him good standards. He cannot claim to be a victim of anything except selfishness, self-centeredness and strong self will.
