Dick and Peggy have sponsored large numbers of men and women all around the country. Dick is sponsored by Clancy I of Venice CA. He shares about his decision with over 20 years sober to ask Clancy to sponsor him. There were no men in Nebraska with more years than he had who were still active in AA.
Peggy is delightful as always and shares her unique perspective on sponsoring and being sponsored.
Sober since 9/15/1965, he has not had a drink since he came into AA. He emphasizes to newcomers that you do not have to relapse. He talks about the sponsors he has had and the value of service work in his journey through recovery.
