Sober about 35 years since 11/13/1947, Wesley is one of the best loved historical figures in AA in the South. He introduced Joe and Charlie to the world and spoke in Bill W.'s place in 1970 when Bill was too sick to speak at his regualr slot at the AA International in Miami, FL. Wesley also introduced and promoted the concept of practicing the Traditions in his personal life.
