An 18-year member since October 1970, Tony calls himself a procrastinating but ever so grateful Al-Anon member. Long before he knew there was such a thing as Al-Anon, it was the "AAers" who kept him saner until he could walk through the doors of Al-Anon. He his very grateful to his wife, his qualifier, who taught him how to love the unlovable - "and there is certainly no one more unlovable that a full-blown, practicing alcoholic".
