Tom calls himself a grateful Al-Anon adult child. Since every member of AA should have relatives or friends who are alcoholics, he welcomes all the AA's present to their induction meeting into Al-Anon. Tom's parents were both alcoholics along with brothers, sisters and cousins. Originally from St. Louis, there were two stories - on the outside all was nice and orderly -the second - what was actually going on. He lived in denial for years and years.
