Steve is sober since 6/30/1989. Humorous talk with many solid insights into the nature of the disease. His last drink was anAmarettoand his first day sober he spent some of it at a Chuck-E-Cheese. He recommends neither. What it was like changes. He realized he used to suffer from a past that never really happened. The conditions have not changed as much as the experience of life from the inside out. His sponsor said, "Your not who you think you are. Your not who they think you are and you are not who you think they think you are." He came into AA via the court system with a mandatory stay at a treatment center.
