Phillip joined Al-anon 5/4/1994. AA gave him through Al-anon a solution to a problem he did not even know he had. He could not believe where he was. He was raised by a good, church-going family who gave him all he needed and most of what he wanted. After high school he went to Europe for nine weeks to study the bible. But still he felt he was no good yet knew God was the answer. He went from there to married working for Alabama Power only to quit to go into the Rock-and-Roll business. He had a great time and saw things he had never seen before.
