The Friday night speaker, Otto grew up and got sober in Oklahoma.
He was the son of a policeman who was also violent.
He spent over a year in the hospital as a result of wounds received in combat in Vietnam in 1968.
He came to treatment because he had a problem with valium but was genuinely relieved to discover that he was an alcoholic.
He explains in depth his journey through the Steps and toward a God of his understanding.
At one point he shares about one of his defects:
"I know everything. I'm all knowed up. I've been knowed up for a long time."
