He called himself the Token Redneck Speaker - born in Tennessee, grew up in the delta in Mississippi, went to High School in lower Alabama and now living in Georgia. He has a passionate love affair with this program. His sponsor says he is very unique - he worked the promises backwards in his life. "I intuitively baffled situations I used to handle." Nine years sober at the time of the talk. He got sober 3/31/1989 in Mobile, AL at the age of 17. His story is a miracle but it is not the only one in AA.
