A lively and funny speaker, Nancy was 32 years sober at the time of this talk. Her band Sweetwater was the first band to play Woodstock. She later contracted an illness of the throat that ended her singing career. She had not lost everything external when she came to the rooms but she had reached the Skid Row of the soul. Nancy also spoke at the Big Meeting at the AA International 2000 in Minneapolis.
