Sober 30 years since 9/5/1987 and married to Debbie P who spoke a week later at the same event, Mike got sober in the Caribbean.
He has traveled extensively in the hospitality industry attending AA from Alaska to the east coast to Central America (where he grew up).
He is very honest about his motives.
He makes no bones about it.
He only speaks for himself.
This is about not getting "stoned" on a daily basis.
He often says "It's all about me." and asks, "All I want to know is - what's in it for me?"
Which is rather odd because I see him frequently seeking out the one guy in the room who is struggling the most and spending a great deal of time one on one with him in intense conversation.
Very interesting.
