Sober 32 years since January 1997, Mike is a self-confessed gear head who grew up first off a rural Mississippi dirt road.
Later the family moved to Smyrna, GA.
He has a very powerful story of forgiveness with his alcoholic father.
In sobriety, he had an amiable divorce and was sure he would not get married again.
After the death of a close friend and co-worker he began to take care of his friend's long time Al-Anon widow's yard.
Married many years, she was the Al-Anon speaker at this same event.
