Sober 2 years since 12/25/2016, Michael felt the three almost DUIs and the two DUIs were not his fault.
He does not consider himself an addict because when he decided to stop, he could and did.
Not so with King Alcohol. He became a daily drinker who managed to hold down jobs in the restaurant industry.
In two treatment programs, he lied on the tests and they still said, "You may be an alcoholic".
He refused to believe it until he reached a point on Christmas Eve 2016 when he had a moment of clarity and asked God for help.
