Sober 21 years since 12/28/1985, very recently past Northeast Regional Trustee for AA, He says,
"My current service role at my home group is bleeding deacon."
Born and raised in Vermont in a normal home, involved in sports, the youngest of three brothers, alcohol became his solution at an early age.
He married young to the love of his life but it took AA to show him what he had to be grateful for.
He became a teacher.
"That did not solve the money problem."
As to alcohol,
"It started to stop working long before I started to stop drinking."
