Max is a long term member of Al-Anon and married to Dr. Paul O., author of the Big Book story "Acceptance was the Answer" in the 4th edition (renamed from "Doctor, Alcoholic, Addict" in the 3rd edition).
They were neighbors since the age of four and married 50 years at the time of this talk.
