Sober 1 year since 6/26/2017, Mariellen shares an excellent story and solid recovery.
Raised in the St. Louis Area, alcohol was a growing part of her life that turned to dependence after her son suffered a severe brain injury falling from a college dormitory elevated bed with no rails.
With the encouragement of her husband, she came to AA uncertain she was really an alcoholic.
Now she is certain and has a mission to do all she can, sober, to raise awareness for the need for rails on elevated beds.
