Sober 7 years since 5/16/1989, Mack says it's hard work staying drunk on beer.
Born and raised in the small town of Eufaula, AL (they recently got their own Wal-Mart), all they really had for recreation was sports and drinking.
Starting around 13, by 15 it was a major part of his life and by 17 he graduated to bourbon. He thought his absurd behavior was a result of his drinking. He found out different in AA. By 22 he was working for his step-father and constantly in trouble.
He came into the rooms at age 24.
