Her husband Norris died sober, at Peace with his God, shortly before this talk.

Sober 10 years since 11/18/1994, she came into AA a wife, mother, women who had walked out on her husband, children, family. She was a drunk, a pill head a nothing.
Today through the Grace of God, a Home Group and good sponsorship she is a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a women - sober, free of pills, responsible.
Norris was a gift and nothing is forever. We left nothing unsaid.
Her sponsors gave her 72 hours to grieve and then she was to get back in the saddle.
