An Al-Anon member 14 years since June 1984, Linda divorced her first qualifier. She then married an AA member.
They tried to get pregnant with her first child but lost two pre-term.
He had a grandchild they got to share.
He got sick and died sober in 1996.
Al-Anon carried her through it all.
A year after he died, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
It was caught early though it did require surgery.
NOTE: There are two Lindas in Al-Anon with last name starting with "S" from Waycross, GA. Linda S #1 came into Al-Anon in 1983. Her Husband Raandy was AA Delegate for Area 16 (Georgia) from 1993-1995.
