Sober 29 years since 11/2/1988 in Los Angeles, Leslie's Father was paratrooper that beat his mother until she left him and moved pregnant to LA with Leslie the oldest of four - though two died young.
Leslie was a bit confused growing up black in LA but going to an all-girls Catholic school listening to Peter Frampton during the day and Sly and the Family Stone at night.
She has not had a perfect time in sobriety, acting out but always turning back to the principles of the Program.
