Sober 2 years since 7/11/2015, Julie was raised in Northern Illinois. She is the only alcoholic in her immediate family.
She began to drink at age 14 but in the end drank mostly at home.
When she came into AA she was married with three children and full of tears of shame and remorse.
She got involved early in group service.
Now the tears of joy come with delightful regularity.
Great story.
Note: I failed to notice that the microphone came off the clip and was dangling down near her knees during the whole talk.
