Sober 32 years since 7/16/1985, Judy was raised in a blue collar neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA as the only "only-child" in her neighborhood and the only one that had their own room.
Alcoholism was in her extended family. Mother told her if she drank she would become an alcoholic.
Judy was a kitchen drinker. She never had any affairs with men because there were none in her kitchen.
Her husband traveled 35 weeks a year. They were living in Texas.
She drank and called Pittsburgh running up $200 phone bills. It is not normal to want to hide the phone bill.
Her transition to a sober woman is a delightful tale of hope for the still suffering alcoholic, alone in their kitchen.
