Jennie is a truly delightful speaker with a great message and an infectious laugh. On January 7, 1985 shebegan to go to Al-Anon instead of sitting beside her sober husband Bill H in the open AA meetings because she was told they "needed" her. For over 20 years she had lived in Brussels with her first alcoholic husband until he lost his job and they moved back to the States. After her divorce, she met her current husband Bill in the airport when he strolled up to her and asked "Haven't I seen you some place before?" (Tacky!). He was sober many years when she met him. He just turned 80 at the time if this talk. A few years before this talk Bill was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
