Sober 3 years since 8/28/2015 at age 25, Jamie is a young member of AA with a sponsor, a home group and a service position.
He grew up in Charleston, SC, color blind and dyslexic and drank at every opportunity.
"My goal was not to drink like a gentleman. It was, like, leave me alone."
He turned 18 in treatment where he learned about drugs he had not tried but wanted to.
Once in AA, he had to learn grown up skills and to connect to a God of his understanding.
