Howard says the most spiritual thing we do in AA is laugh. "I want what you have... but have discovered I now want what I have." He lacked the power to feel good when he came into AA. He grew up in Kansas around the buckle of the Bible Belt raised by hard working, stern Prussian parents. He has a great analogy about "baby elephant beliefs". His talk is anything but stern. Rather it is entertaining and lively - Enjoy.
