Gary is in the process of writing a book on Charles Towns proprietor of Towns Hospital where Bill Wilson was treated for alcoholism and where during the week of December 12, 1934 he had his "hot flash". Gary's knowledge of the material is wonderful. He gives insights into this rather controversial figure. He also shows how indebted AA is to this charismatic and powerful early friend of AA.
