Sober 24 years since January 1968, Fr. Hillary is a favorite speaker an an inspiration to many inside and outside of AA especially in the Southeast. At the time of this talk he is actually not living in Cullman, AL, his longtime home, but is pastor of a small church in LA ("Lower Alabama") on the Gulf Coast but he does not give the name. He says he wants to give a talk unlike any he has given before. "I came in so stupid I didn't even know I was broke."
