Two well-loved and seasoned speakers in AA, Dave and Polly P of Jacksonville, FL team up with Polly's son James and his wife Jane from Tallahassee, FL in a truly remarkable event with many layers of history - distant and recent.
Dave had been ill for some time, and Polly his fulltime caregiver.
Their speaking together at this event was unexpected and up lifting.
Jane L has an amazing story in her own right and James has done much more than follow in his mother's footsteps.
I had the pleasure to dine with the whole family at this event and it remains one of those special moments in recovery. A nice dinner with great conversation on a wide range of topics.
