Married to Chuck C, who also spoke at this event, Elsa was close friends with Bill and Lois W.
Chuck came into AA in 1946, seven years before Al-Anon was founded.
Elsa helped start Al-Anon in California.
She spends time talking about her children and how she and Chuck used the principles in dealing with them - sometimes well, sometimes not.
Elsa had a profound impact on Al-Anon worldwide.
She was introduced by the Chair, Martha R, one off the AFG Founders in Atlanta, who first met Elsa in 1959.
