Sober 25 years since 6/1/1987, Edith is a lively country gal who starts the talk singing Johnny Cash. She grew up in Decatur, AL along the river. She was driving drunk with a girlfriend passenger, collided with a train, went down a ravine and her friend was tossed out. The girlfriend survived relatively unhurt ironically because she had just gotten out of a full body cast from an early accident. Edith had the windshield go through her throat. She spent weeks in the hospital - her friends sneaking her booze. Insanity.
In sobriety she has traveled around the world attending meetings wherever she goes. Her story bounces around delightfully with many powerful stories before and after sobriety.
