A solid, entertaining talk, Ed was an Air Force pilot who took his last drink 9/3/1962 and managed to stay enlisted after getting sober in AA.
On his last drunk he woke up from a blackout in Ethiopia and not sure why he was there or how he got there. He realized later he was the crew navigator on an Air Force mission. He had joined AA six months earlier.
Later in life he went back to school and became a defense trial lawyer.
He is CIA - "Catholic, Irish, Alcoholic".
