Sober 6 years since 6/25/2012, Drew's father grew up dirt poor on a North Carolina tobacco farm and served two tours in Vietnam that he does not talk about.
Both parents have been very supportive over the years (maybe too much). His sister's husband, though not an alcoholic, was instrumental in getting Drew into AA.
Drew works in his dad's company though fired twice over the years.
That was, until he learned in the rooms of AA what it meant to be a man at age 42.
