One of the best loved AA speakers and author of the Big Book Story Acceptance Was The Answer (4th Ed) (Doctor, Alcoholic, Addict (3rd Ed)), Paul is sober only 10 years since July 1967.
The event is a combined 24th Georgia State Convention and 33rd Southeastern Regional Conference. The State Convention was always held in October unless it was combined with the Regional.
