A class A Trustee on the AA General Service Board for 27 years , Dr. Jack is not an alcoholic. He is speaking to a gathering of current and past delegates from the South East Region of the US. He begins by eloquently reading historical memos, minutes and letters from the founding days of the program - the minutes of the first meeting of the Foundation, reports from Hank Parkhurst on the numbers of sober members in 1938, a 1955 letter from Ruth Hock, the non-alcoholic secretary who typed the manuscript of the Big Book and more. The selection is wonderful - the information enlightening. The recording quality is excellent. A real AA History lovers treasure. Thank you Gary N.
