A very good share and sober since 5/5/1987, Donna does not speak very often. She grew up in Montana of parents who married to run away from alcoholic homes. Her dad was an alcoholic waiting for a drink he finally took in Donna's early teens. Her family moved 27 times in ten years. Her dad was full of anger. The family experienced all the abuse that occurred in alcoholic homes - terror, fear and anxiety. But that has nothing to do with why she is an alcoholic. She has the allergy of the body coupled with the obsession of the mind. She no longer blames them - they did the best that they could. Now she can focus on doing the best she can one day at a time. After seven years of exposure to the program she reached a crisis point in Kona, HI and met her "Eskimo" -Phyllis, who put her under new management.
