Sober 39 years since 8/31/1961, Don shared for the first time at this event in 1999.
Now 77 years old, he came into AA in 1961 when some of the original 100 AA members were still alive.
He put his house up as collateral to help a group acquire Dr. Bob and Anne Smith's home on Ardmore Street in Akron. It is now a well kept part of AA history we can all visit.
