Sober 14 years since 2/21/1980, Don was on AA's General Service Board when the Soviet Union became interested in AA as a way to help the large numbers of untreated alcoholics in their borders.
He toured the Soviet Union and hosted them when they came to the US to see AA in action for themselves.
Originally sober in Colorado, at the time of this talk he was working in the corrections field with Tom I and living in North Carolina.
