Age 72, Dee never really knew her mother though raised by her and her dad.
She went to the University of Minnesota and became a Registered Nurse and later enlisted in the Army.
She was stationed in Cheyenne, WY and Denver, CO where she met her husband - an army doctor.
She brought some curious ideas into her first marriage.
It took a while before his alcoholism and drug addiction kicked in but it became quite a ride.
