David is a dynamic speaker. He came in non-alcoholic at age 39 after his 13 year old son intervened. David caught the disease in treatment. Until he accepted that he had a disease he could not get sober.
In the last two years of his drinking, he drank and smoked cigarettes alone in his bathroom til his wife or kids knocked on the door. He weaves his history in with his understanding of the program, his defects of character and the solution - a design for living and a God of his understanding.
