Sober 13+ years since 1945, a minister's son from Barberton, Ohio, physically handicapped from childhood, Dan was treated by Dr Bob at St. Thomas Hospital.
Dr Bob and Anne took Dan to meetings for the first year and a half because he had no drivers license.
He is quoted often in the AA history book, "Dr Bob and the Good Oldtimers".
