Sober 1 year since 3/5/2017, Cindy was born in Pensacola FL and raised in a farming family compound.
Adopted and raised by her maternal grandparents, Cindy was told her maternal mother was her sister.
Her grandfather was a mean dry drunk. Her grandmother a kind and generous woman.
"Fear made me excel at school."
Wanting to have a baby drove Cindy though she was never able to give birth.
Now solid in her recovery, Cindy's maternal mother still lives with her and they have a loving relationship.
What a wonderful journey from then to now.
