The 30 minute speaker, 7th of 10 children of an admitted father alcoholic who beat her mom, Cheryl first drank at age 12.
She ran away for 6 months at age 15 after 9th grade. Her dad got sober shortly after.
She was finally done after 2 kids and 2 detoxes once with blood alcohol .46.
She felt not good enough to go to AA meetings.
She called out drunk the night of her last drink:
"God I don't want to be this way anymore...I believe I took the first three steps that night."
