Sober 30 years since 7/1/1987, Brian came into AA in his twenties while serving in the Army.
He is a passionate and active member of AA.
He took care of his mother with dementia for the last 14 months of her life.
She, too, was a long term member of AA who got sober before Brian.
She was an example to him of what this design for living could do for a suffering alcoholic.
