In Al-Anon 24 years, also known as 'Smitty', Bob is the son of AA co-founder Dr. Bob.
He and his wife Betty loved to party, so they never let those at the party know who his dad was.
Things started getting bad and Betty decided on her own to join AA.
Bob joined Al-Anon when he saw how much better Betty was getting and he was not.
She died 5 years before this talk with 19 years sober.
Smitty tells a story of God working in his life when he was a bomber pilot in WWII over Africa.
He also defines the difference between Cashier honesty, Resume honesty, versus Rigorous honesty.
