Bob got sober in the 1970's. He was from a broken home and foster parents. He is soft spoken with a message that is indeed experience, strength and hope. He was a Forward Observer for the Navy in Beirut and a bill collector in the Chicago Projects yet he discovered fear was a larger part of his life than he knew. He describes going thoroughlythrough the steps in a group some years ago. Today all but one of those men are still alive and sober. One froze to death in the winter on the streets of Denver. This recording is highly recommendable.
