Sober 30 years, after clarifying what it means, Bill W leads the audience as they officially adopt the "I am Responsible Pledge":
"I am responsible.
When anyone, anywhere
reaches out for help
I want the hand of AA
always to be there
and for that
I am responsible"
The pledge was then repeated in multiple languages.
It finishes with Bill's wife, and Al-Anon co-founder, Lois W, leading the audience in the Lord's Prayer.
