Sober some 14 years at the time of this talk, Bill has been active with the Atlanta Men's Workshop held twice each year since the year he got sober. He is a well known figure in the AA Recovery Community.
Bill accidentally shot his best friend while at college. Shortly after he was miraculously rescued during a suicide attempt. Bill had a long career in broadcasting. This is a story of a family disease and becoming a father again through taking the actions suggested in the Big Book.
