Sober 12 years since 11/18/2008 at 44 years old, Belinda was the Sunday morning speaker at this event.
Her mother's longtime participation in Al-Anon and her father's struggles with alcoholism and recovery influenced her decision to take her own recovery seriously.
She grew up in Alateen but that was not enough to keep her from becoming alcoholix.
She is passionate about AA and the meditation life she has developed in her time in recovery.
